The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by CBSE. Its Information Bulletin (CTET February 2026 edition) asks for a scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
The photograph must be 3.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm high and between 10 KB and 100 KB. The signature must be 3.5 cm long and 1.5 cm high and between 3 KB and 30 KB. The tool above makes both at 300 DPI (413 × 531 px and 413 × 177 px) and writes the DPI into the file so the size in cm is correct.
CBSE also advises keeping the scanned images of your latest photograph and signature ready before you start the form, and the same photo is printed on your admit card, so use a clear and recent one.
How to resize your CTET photo and signature
- Photo tab: tap "Choose photo" and pick a recent photo with a light, plain background.
